Double R Ranch is owned and run by the Porter Family ... Randy and Rhonda and their kids, Ashley and Luke. They took this 37-acre farm and completely renovated it, turning older outbuildings into large, comfortable barns with all the amenities any horse or human could want. And they continue to work and improve the place, always looking for new things to add in order to give their boarders unsurpassed service and facilities. If you have a wish, the Porters will do their very best to fulfill it if possible! 
Randy can usually be found 4-wheeling around the property looking for things that need to be fixed or cleaned, or checking to be sure the horses are all looking good. He builds stalls, fences, jumps, clears woods to add more pasture and much more ... he's always working! Rhonda gives Double R the classy, yet homey touch with her flowers planted and hanging through-out and her decorative touches in the sitting rooms. She also is the computer operator of the family, keeping the boarders completely up-to-date with her frequent newsletters and postings on the barn message boards.

Completing the family are Daisy and Buddy, brother and sister labrador retrievers. They are quite representative of the atmosphere at Double R as they are very friendly, eager to please ... and always glad to see you! |
