Here at the Double R, we think you

with the facilities that we have
to offer you ...

Our three barns offer full services and amenities for both horse and owner ...

Upper Barn

The "Upper Barn" features roomy 12x12' stalls, a large tack room with sink, a lounge with refrigerator, microwave, a couch, table and chairs, and 2 cross-tie areas.  It is located next to the upper riding ring and there is parking available right in front of the barn.

The "Lower Barn" has incredible 12x20' stalls with individual 12x12' cross-tie areas next to each stall.  This cross-tie area belongs to the occupant of the adjoining stall and boarders can put tack boxes, organizers and/or chairs in them as they wish.   There is also a lounge (with TV, refrigerator, microwave, couches, table and chairs), a bathroom with a shower, 3 hot/cold wash-bays and a tack room.  This barn is located next to the lower riding ring.

The "Middle Barn" has ten 12x12' stalls with individual crossties, tack room, wash bays and a lounge.  It is located on the other side of the lower riding ring.

Upper Barn  (12x12 stalls):  $425 per month.

Lower Barn  (12x20 stalls):  $475 per month

Middle Barn  (12x12 stalls):     $475 per month

  Pasture Board
$325 per month

In the winter, there is a $15 a month blanketing fee for any horse using this service.  There is also an $11 fee for paste worming which is administered on a rotating basis every other month.

Lower Ring and Lower Barn

Lower Riding Ring with Lower Barn (right) and Middle Barn (left)

We have two full-size rings with well-cared-for sand footing.  The jumps in the Upper Ring are generally set for cross-rails or low verticals, while the Lower Ring, which is somewhat longer, is used for the larger jumps.  Each ring has a small covered "Observation Stand" with chairs where instructors, parents or friends may sit.   When lessons are being held in one ring, the other will always be available for boarders wishing to ride on their own.

There are beautiful trails in the woods right behind the pastures, easily accessible without having to get on a road to get there.  Some of our boarders like to just trail ride.  Others enjoy taking a stroll through the woods with their horses after a lesson or practice session in the ring.  In either case, it's a beautiful, peaceful way to relax, whether you're a kid or an adult ...
